It make me think of egyptian hieroglyphs and how they transformed into a simple alphabet we're using now. The task was to take a set of twelve images and simplify them gradually into a set of pictograms, brush painted letters into a set of lines which one would be able to draw in sand. I focused on corporate identity that is evolving, influenced by various factors such as organizational or cultural changes and technological development. I designed a map, based on a matrix of squares which become a medium for presenting information. Developing this idea resulted in sixteen signs which map ethnic groups in the Greater London area. This maps were based on statistical information about people living in London. I have colour coded the information and applied to earlier designed stencil. I extended this system by preparing a coherent corporate identity for London Boroughs. I have applied one of the designed identities to the stationery and print collateral. As a final outcome I have prepared house manual and two posters presenting the designed identity, consisting of a range of logotype variations.
